GORE TREATED LIKE ROCK STAR IN CANADA!

(Pikesville, MD) - Maryland state troopers and Baltimore City officers have arrested the second suspect wanted in connection with the murder of a man who was found in the trunk of a burning red Geo Prizm on Wednesday.

Shortly after 7:00 p.m., Robert Edward Speake, 18, of the 4900 block of Brookwood Road, Brooklyn, Maryland, was arrested after he was found hiding in a house on the property of the McLean Contracting Company in Curtis Bay, Maryland. A concerted effort by investigators from Maryland State Police Homicide Unit, Glen Burnie Barrack Investigations Section, Maryland State Police Gang Unit and the Baltimore City Warrant Fugitive Task Force led to the arrest.

His name and photo were broadcast Friday in the media following the issuance of a felony warrant for his arrest. Troopers then began receiving numerous tips from the public about his whereabouts. Investigators spent the weekend tracking down leads and interviewing citizens. Sunday afternoon, investigators began to focus on 2001 Benhill Avenue, an industrial and construction equipment storage site. A break-in had been reported earlier in the day, and when they arrived, they discovered the front door had been barricaded from the inside.

Baltimore City Police Department sent a helicopter to maintain surveillance from above while investigators spoke with the property owner who advised that he had not left the house in such a condition. Once the front door was breached, Baltimore City K-9 units searched the interior of the house and discovered a second door inside the house barricaded with more furniture. The second door was forced open and Speake was arrested without incident. He was transported to the Glen Burnie Barrack for processing before being taken before a Commissioner on first and second degree murder charges
