Man charged in October armed robbery

LEXINGTON PARK (Nov. 3, 2009) --- St. Mary's Sheriff's spokesman DFC Cindy Allen reports that on October 30, 2009 Joseph Eckloff, 26, of Lexington Park, Maryland was arrested on an outstanding warrant for armed robbery. 

The warrant was issued in connection with the October 23, 2009 armed robbery, which occurred on Fenwick Street in Leonardtown, Maryland. 

Eckloff was developed as a suspect and an application for Statement of Charges completed.  An arrest warrant charging Eckloff with Armed Robbery, Robbery, Theft of less the $1,000 and Concealed Dangerous Weapon was issued for Eckloff. 

On October 30, 2009, Eckloff was located in a parking lot in the area of Liberty Street in Lexington Park, Maryland.  He was arrested and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where is being held on $100,000 bond.
