GREAT MILLS -- Lt. Rick Burris of the St. Mary's Sheriff's Department reports that detectives from St. Mary’s Sheriff's and State Police investigation team arrested Alan J. Patke, 41 years of age from Great Mills Maryland on July 8th at 6:45 am and charged him with Sexual Child Abuse, 4th Degree Sexual Offense and Possessing Child Pornography. The arrest was a result of an investigation which determined that Patke had child pornography on his computer and also had inappropriate contact with an underage child. He was incarcerated at the St. Mary’s County Detention Center.
