Francis Irene Milburn

Francis Irene Milburn known as “Bee Bee”  was born on February 03, 1959  and departed this life on Friday, June 06, 2008 at Washington Hospital Center in Washington D.C..

Francis attended Chopticon High School. She was employed at Patuxent River, as a Domestic Service Worker. Francis was known for caring for children and family members.

Throughout the community, she had made many friends in every walk of her life.  Francis was known for her sense of humor and always willing to open her home to those in need, which she shared many years with her loving sister Hope Milburn. Francis loved spending time with her daughter Sharika and grandchild Terrone. She and Terrone had a special bond based on the song “Poppin” by Chris Brown, (in her own words.) Bingo was her favorite past time and she was known to some as B9. Francis enjoyed working at the fairs and carnivals for many years. Francis truly enjoyed spending time with special friends Roberta Armstrong, Brenda Shade, Beanie, Agnes Dove and Geraldine Snyder.

Francis leaves to cherish her memories, her beloved daughter, Sharika Milburn of Lexington Park, MD; her loving grandson Terrone Milburn of Lexington Park, MD. Her sisters Donna Milburn and Ladeana Smallwood of Leonardtown, MD; Hope Milburn and Lillian Beander of Lexington Park, MD. Her brothers William Milburn, Bruce Owens and Vernon Milburn of Lexington Park, MD; Fred Milburn of Leonardtown, MD; Dexter Milburn of Waldorf, MD; Lord Milburn of Annapolis, MD; Thomas Milburn of Avenue, MD and a host of godchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lillian Milburn and father, Frederick Milburn, great- grandmother, Lucy Bennett, aunt, Catherine Hebb; sisters, Melody McRae, Lola Jean Dorsey, Mary Ann Young and brother, Dennis Milburn.
