One Suspect Arrested And Another Sought
In Murder Of Baltimore Man
(Linthicum Heights, MD) – Homicide investigators from the Maryland State Police and the Baltimore Police Department have arrested one suspect and have an arrest warrant for a second suspect in connection with the death of a Baltimore man who was found buried in a state park last month.
Members of the State Police and Baltimore Police homicide units today arrested Kevin M. Skipper, 30, of the 500-block of E. Fort Avenue, Baltimore. He is charged with first and second degree murder, first and second degree assault, and two counts of use of a deadly weapon. Skipper was arrested without incident at his home shortly before 3:00 p.m. today. He is currently being processed at Central Booking.
Police have also obtained an arrest warrant for Christopher S. Calvert, 31, of the 1300-block of Richardson Street, Baltimore. He is also charged with first and second degree murder, first and second degree assault, and two counts of use of a deadly weapon. Calvert is described as a white male, 6’ tall, 230 lbs, hazel eyes, and brown hair.
Police are currently searching for Calvert. He is known to frequent the areas of South Baltimore, Locust Point and Brooklyn Park. Anyone with information about him is urged to call 9-1-1, or the Maryland State Police at 410-761-5130.
Both Skipper and Calvert are charged in connection with the death of Matthew C. Martin, 31, of the 1300-block of Haubert Street, Baltimore. Martin’s body was found buried in a shallow grave on May 15, 2010, in Patapsco State Park, near the 1200-block of River Road, in Linthicum Heights. Martin’s mother had reported him missing to the Baltimore Police Department on April 11, 2010. He had last been seen alive on April 9th.
Investigators from the Maryland State Police Homicide Unit and detectives from the Baltimore Police Homicide Unit worked in cooperation after Martin’s body was found. Police believe Calvert, Skipper and the victim were all acquaintances who met together at Calvert’s basement apartment on April 9th. Police believe Martin was assaulted and murdered in Calvert’s residence by both Calvert and Skipper before being taken to the park and buried. A motive for the murder remains unclear at this time. The investigation is continuing.
Police have issued lookouts and wanted flyers for Calvert. He should be considered dangerous. Anyone who knows where he is should
Cops say former Subway worker busted into store, robbed it of cash
CALIFORNIA – According to police, on May 23, 2010 police responded to the Subway Restaurant on MacArthur Boulevard in California, Maryland for a report of a burglary. Unknown person(s) smashed an exterior window to gain entry to the business. Once inside, money was stolen from a cash register and safe.
Detectives from the St. Mary’s County Bureau of Criminal Investigations assumed the investigation. Detectives reviewed the restaurant’s video surveillance system and developed Fred Allen Linkous-Lincoln, 20, of California, Maryland, a former employee, as a suspect.
On June 1, 2010 BCI Detectives executed a search and seizure warrant at Linkous-Lincoln’s residence and detained four subjects. Detectives subsequently charged Linkous-Lincoln with Second Degree Burglary, Destruction of Property and Theft.
Fred Lincoln, without the hyphenated last name as released by Capt. Terry Black, was charged by Deputy Michael Licausi with malicious destruction of property in March and has a court date pending in July.
Lincoln lives around the corner from the Subway on Halsey Court in San Souci subdivision.
On May 26th, Lincoln was charged with operating a vehicle without a seatbelt on Rt. 235 at Laurel Grove.
Police say that the burglary investigation is continuing and further arrests and charges may be pending following a review with the States Attorney’s Office.

Cops Rock and Roll Solving Burglaries;

Charles County Sheriff’s Officers Close Four Unrelated Burglaries with Eight Arrests
Quick Response Times, Extensive Patrols and Solid Police Work Led to Arrests
Charles County Sheriff Rex W. Coffey said officers recently solved four unrelated burglaries in which good, solid police work was credited with identifying, locating and arresting eight suspects. Citing the arrests, Sheriff Coffey said the work performed in each case is commendable and demonstrates the commitment officers have in solving crimes and the importance of increasing a police presence throughout the community. “These arrests came about as a result of citizens reporting suspicious activity, an immediate police response and officers putting their skills to work,” said Sheriff Coffey. The following are synopsis of the four cases:
On December 16, Charles County Sheriff’s Detective C. Wimbley arrested Jerrell Tibbs, 23, of Waldorf, in connection with a burglary that occurred on November 29 at Hong Kong Buffet at 3331 Plaza Way in Waldorf. Another suspect, Omar Jamal Brooks, 23, of Waldorf, was arrested on December 12. During the burglary, the suspects broke a rear door, entered the business and stole a laptop, designer purse, cash and alcohol. Detective Wimberley tracked down information about the stolen goods and subsequently linked Tibbs and Brooks to the break-in. Both suspects were charged with second-degree burglary.
On December 11 at 11:40 p.m., a citizen called police after observing three suspects break out the glass door to the Berry Country Market at 7485 Bensville Road in Waldorf. When officers arrived, they discovered the front door had been shattered and the suspects had fled. An immediate search was coordinated and K-9 officers were deployed. Within several minutes, Detective C. Shankster observed all three suspects hiding in tall grass on the front lawn of a nearby house. Officers approached the suspects and discovered cigarettes, beer and butane lighters which had been stolen during the break-in. Upon further investigation, officers connected the suspects to vandalism at Bensville Park in which they broke three windows and two fog lights at the concession stand. Christopher Ross Aylor, 18, and two 15-year-old males, all of White Plains, were arrested and charged with second-degree burglary, destruction of property and theft.
On December 10 at 1:15 p.m., officers responded to the 2300 block of Tacoma Place in Waldorf for the report of two masked men attempting to break into a home. A witness provided officers with a description of the suspects and their vehicle. Responding officers observed the suspect car leaving the area and initiated a traffic stop. The suspects fled and officers pursued the car to Garner Road where the driver lost control and struck another vehicle. Burglary tools were recovered from the car and officers learned one of the suspects had an open warrant. The suspects, a 21-year-old male and a 22-year-old male, both from Suitland, were apprehended and face multiple charges. The investigation in this case is ongoing.
On December 7, Charles County Sheriff’s Detective J. Elliott arrested Robert Hector Becker, 21, of La Plata, in connection with a burglary that occurred on November 6 in La Plata in which a crossbow, long guns and other items were stolen. During the initial investigation, Officer R. Bagley processed the scene and obtained latent fingerprints which were then processed by examiners assigned to the Sheriff’s Office Forensic Science Unit. The analysis ultimately linked the prints to Becker and connected him to the break-in. Becker was charged with burglary and remanded to the Charles County Detention Center.

ST. MARY’S

his deputies
were on the
lookout for
Bray and at
about 356 am
today Deputy
Dodson found
him near
Spring Ridge
Middle
School, on
Rt. 235 and
placed him
under
arrest.
Bray was
indicted on
charges of
distribution
of drugs in
2005 while
on probation
and sent to
the Maryland
State Prison
system for
incarceration.
At the same
time, court
records show
that a
judgment in
the amount
of $700 for
unspecified
restitution
to William
Winters was
affirmed.
In 2003,
Bray was
arrested by
Dep. Robert
Merritt for
burglary and
found
guilty. He
was
sentenced to
5 years in
prison and 3
years on
probation
but that
sentence was
reduced to
18 months
with the
provision he
attend drug
rehab. It
was during
the
probation
period that
he was
nabbed for
selling
drugs.
On Dec. 11,
2009, Bray
was back in
the fray of
legal
charges,
when he was
arrested by
St. Mary’s
Sheriff’s
Deputy Eric
Evans for
violating a
protective
order.
Bray is a
walking and
talking
crime spree
with a
record
stretching
back for
more than a
decade with
various
charges of
assault,
assault on a
jail guard,
theft,
malicious
destruction
of property,
and more,
with many
convictions,
showing that
three
strikes and
you are out
is a theory
in Maryland.
Even the
late Deputy
Keith
Fretwell
arrested
Bray on
charges of
theft in
1997, for
which he was
found guilty
and given
548 days in
jail.
As a
training
aide for
local police
officers,
Bray has
been
arrested at
least once
by most
every deputy
and trooper
in the area.
His
continued
periods of
freedom are
not the
fault of
local police
officers but
are due to
the insane
local judges
who have
little
concern for
the public
and
continually
allow this
madman to be
free to
cause
mayhem.
The latest
arrest for
Bray of
pointing a
stolen
shotgun at
another may
have been
concluded
with a
murder
charge, but
it is
apparent
from the
silly antics
of St.
Mary’s
County’s
Judges that
Bray will
indeed get
another shot
at killing
someone
soon. The
Judges claim
that they
have
sentencing
guidelines
but they
lie. The
Judges in
Maryland can
reconsider a
sentence for
anyone at
anytime and
usually
after public
attention is
diverted to
other
matters, the
Judges let
dangerous
criminals
out of jail.
In Bray’s
case,
sending him
to jail
doesn’t mean
that his
only way out
is for a
Judge to
issue a
whacky
ruling. In
2006, he
escaped from
jail and was
later caught
and given
another 158
days in jail
for leaving
it.
The Judges
give out
sentences of
18 months or
less to keep
inmates from
being sent
to the State
Prison where
life behind
bars can be
really tough
and the
local jail
is like a
country club
in
comparison.

Robbery
Squad Makes
Quick Work
of Armed
Wing Gang
WALDORF —
Charles
County
Sheriff Rex
W. Coffey
said his
robbery
suppression
plan played
a major role
in helping
solve a
citizen
robbery that
occurred
last week in
which a fast
food
delivery man
was robbed
at gunpoint
by three
teenagers
who are all
charged as
adults and
will make a
big hit when
they get to
meet all of
the
gangsters
and thugs
living in
the state
prison.
Although the
victim was
not injured,
the teens
pointed a
gun at him
and
threatened
to hurt him
if he did
not
cooperate,
report
police.
“It’s that
kind of
behavior we
simply will
not
tolerate,”
said Sheriff
Coffey, “and
it’s why we
initiated
this
operation.
Our plan
includes
increased
patrols,
strong
visibility
and enhanced
communication.
We’ve
deployed
officers’
normally
assigned to
administrative
duties,
utilized our
crime
analysis
personnel to
pinpoint
crime
trends, and
placed
officers in
areas where
they’re most
needed. In
the event a
robbery does
occur, we
have
officers and
detectives
on the scene
within
minutes to
get
information
which could
be vital to
solving the
case
quickly.”
On November
17,
detectives
arrested
Charles

Elijah

Royal
Alfred, 18,

connection
with the
November 9
armed
robbery of a
delivery man
in the 4200

suspects
called a
local
carryout
restaurant
and placed
an order for
delivery.
The teens

outside a
house –
chosen at
random - and
waited for
the victim.
Once the
victim
arrived, the
suspects
confronted
him, pointed
a handgun
and demanded
money and
the food.
The victim
complied and
the suspects
fled with
cash,
chicken
wings, subs
and fries.
Officers

the area and
detectives
interviewed
the victim,
obtaining
descriptions
of the

other
important
information.
Investigators

forward,

processing
evidence
which
ultimately
led to the
suspects’
identities.
All three
suspects
were charged
as adults
with armed
robbery
which
carries a
penalty of
up to 15
years in

The target of the investigation emerged as Craig Wesley Norton, 38, of Lexington Park.
Police say that a Search and Seizure Warrant was obtained for Norton’s home located on Hillside Drive. Vice Narcotics Detectives were assisted by the St. Mary’s County Emergency Services Team. Once inside, Detectives located 160 Percocet pills. Suspect Norton was arrested and additional charges are pending a State’s Attorney’s Office review.
Vice Narcotics Detectives identified suspect Adriene Lydell Hebb, 31, of Leonardtown, as a distributor of cocaine. A search and Seizure Warrant was obtained and executed by the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Services Team. This residence, located in Hollywood, Maryland, was a distribution point for cocaine, say police.
Hebb was found to have more than $5,000 worth of cocaine as well as marijuana and firearms. Property proceeds were also seized. Suspect Hebb was originally being held on a “No Bond” status.
Alioto reports that during an undercover operation Vice Narcotics Detectives encountered Emmanuel Ezmon Fagon, 31, of Bowie, Maryland. Police say that Fagon had a large quantity of a substance he was trying to sell as cocaine. It was determined that the substance was not cocaine.
