The Coast Guard received a call at 1:30 p.m. reporting that five members of the Ocean City Beach Patrol were conducting paddle board training when they were caught in a rip current.

Rescue boat crews from Station Ocean City along with local lifeguards and, fire and rescue crews arrived on scene at 1:37 p.m. to recover the people in the water.

The rescue boat crew recovered all five people with no injuries.
