Big Mouth Mommas Sent to Slammer for Coaching Riot at B-Ball Game

LEONARDTOWN ---  St. Mary's Sheriff's spokesman Deputy Cindy Allen reports that on 06/15/08 SDFC. Todd Fleenor, along with other deputies and members of the Maryland State Police, responded to Leonardtown Elementary School, in the area of the basketball court for a fight in progress call.  The fight involved approximately 25 to 35 individuals.  Witness report the altercation started as a verbal dispute over a basketball game which escalated into a physical altercation.  SDFC Fleenor and other officers attempted to quell the altercation and told numerous individuals to step back and stop inciting the crowd.  Two individuals identified as Laura Ann Thomas 22 and Sherry Lynn Wood 26 both of Leonardtown, Maryland were asked at least five times to leave the area.  Both refused the Deputy’s direction and continued to incite the crowd.  Both were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and failure to obey a lawful order of a police officer.
